Love the Mortal Instruments by: Shami (Best Fiction Books)
You are so right! This is a really great series to read if you're into any kind of supernatural being at all. You get a healthy dose of all your favorite supernatural characters mixed with lots of action and tons of surprises.
These books kept me guessing until the very end. Just when you think things are going to go one way, Clare throws in something out of left field that changes everything.
For anyone who hasn't checked them out yet, the series is about a secret group of warriors called the Shadowhunters, who are responsible for ridding demons from the world and protecting the human race.
Fifteen-year-old Clary discovers that she and her mother, were part of the Shadowhunter world before her mom decided it wasn't what she wanted for Clary and kept that part of their lives a secret.
